In a few words...
Our story
With you...
since 2016
Since May 2016, Lavender Terasz has been welcoming guests all year round as a restaurant and guesthouse in Balatonvilágos - often referred to as the "Gateway to Lake Balaton", especially for those arriving from Budapest via the M7 motorway. We are located just 1,400 metres from the motorway exit.
The convenient location is further enhanced by Balatonaliga railway station on the main Budapest-Nagykanizsa line, just 150 metres away, as well as the nearby cycling route around Lake Balaton, which runs directly in front of the building. The property is set within a spacious green area, surrounded by gently rolling parkland and a large grassy football field.
A pleasant setting,
With a modern touch
An elegant and modern setting just 800 metres from the shore. Spacious, welcoming dining areas, a fireplace and carefully selected music create a warm and comfortable atmosphere for your meal.
Our wine room features a wine wall showcasing the full selection available at our restaurant, making it easy and convenient to choose the perfect wine to accompany your meal.
Our three dining rooms can also accommodate larger groups, making them ideal for birthday celebrations, wedding anniversaries or simply a relaxed lunch with the whole family.
Come and relax!
Idyllic moments in our garden
One of the main highlights of our restaurant - after the steaks, of course - is our garden, which can accommodate up to 90 guests. Since 2021, part of the garden has been covered, so your experience does not have to depend on unpredictable summer weather.
We have also built a small deck by our beautiful garden pond, where you can reserve a table. Be sure to book in advance, as these tables are especially popular! If you reserve a table on the deck, you may also meet our four inseparable Koi carp, who happily hunt down every crumb that finds its way into the pond, together with their fellow fish. They have been with us since we opened in 2016, and we would like to keep it that way for as long as possible - so please do not drop your phone into the pond!
